I have experience with Access, Visual Basic, AppForge, Crystal Reports, ASP, and HTML. I have created several Palm programs as well as PC programs. I have created a program that is used by the Navy to track each shot fired on their M-4 machine guns. This system works by placing a hardware device called a counter on the handle of the gun. When the gun is fired the counter records the date and time of the impact. The counter is scanned into a PC or Palm Pilot through the serial port using an IR reader. The counter sends a 4 KB hex string of data that contains the time and date of each shot fired. The database for this program had to be carefully designed since it will hold millions of records since the M-4 fires over 1,000 rounds per minute and thousands of marines use them. The M-4 is the standard issue for special forces. There is a user privileges system that goes along with this program to keep sensitive information protected.     Excellent, excellent, excellent! Definitely knows his Palm development stuff. I'm very happy with Jonathan's work... asks questions, easy to communicate with, explains why he does certain things (as I'm a 5+ yr VB developer, but with little PDA experience) and provides robust work. I will continue to hand over my Palm (and PocketPC) development projects to him.
