I developed a quality information system that manufacturers need to acquire their ISO-9000 certification. I took the system from the drawing board to up-and-running in just six months. In the first year of operation, scrap costs and the number of defective parts were reduced by more than 50%.
I re-engineered legacy supply chain management software to make it run on multiple operating systems and different platforms. This was necessitated by the fact that the HP 3000 class of mainframes the company used was being phased out and would no longer be supported. The project was extremely successful and delivered to the customer five months ahead of schedule.
