I develop custom solutions. With over 20 years of experience and a PhD in engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, I have developed solutions to numerous challenges. I am often presented new challenges that are lacking established solutions. After studying the challenge thoroughly, I propose, develop, and code solutions. For example, the paper industry used a time consuming manual method to measure press uniformity, and adjustments often took place a month later. I invented, designed, patented, and developed custom electronic sensors and associated software to measure the press uniformity in real time and to provide instantaneous adjustments. The solution won an international award for product innovation and helped my client gain market share. For clients that already have a solution in mind, I deliver quick results and usually estimate the projects based on fixed cost. My strength is my drive and ability to fight for a solution to get the job done correctly and quickly. I
