Over the last few years, I have been a lead developer on various web based applications in the lab services industry, including a full scale system for managing clinical trials data, and a lab test order and patient management system, both of which have been through multiple successful releases and are used by one of the fastest growing companies in the lab services industry. These systems were built on a J2EE based backend using an advanced browser based front end. The technologies involved included Servlets, EJBs, JSP, Oracle, WebLogic, JMX, Ant, XDoclet, Struts and Flash among other things. Before this, I built various web applications including a virtual seminar system, an IT infrastructure management system, and a corporate partner management system. The variety of technologies used here spanned a wide range from java and perl to MySQL and Oracle.
