? Creates and leads the technical presentation for quote responses, design and internal management reviews; ? Manage technical initiatives across multiple program by providing technical guidance and leadership; ? Work out time schedules and milestone plans for specific development activities and projects; ? Creates new architectural configurations subject to constraints of re-use, cost, timing and hardware capabilities; ? Provides assistance to sales team and customer in providing knowledge and expertise during the estimating and buy-out phases of projects; ? Utilize existing price information and enter orders into the system for customer samples; ? Review the contract documents & work with the salesperson to form strategies on what and how to bid it; ? Prepare detailed estimates using spreadsheet, including material, freight & installation costs. ? Manage project bidding, pricing, contracting, submittals, ordering, and change orders; ? Provide sales support through proposal creation, quote submittals and order generation; ? Provide customer support for orders including pricing inquiries, technical support, and lead-time status; ? Develops knowledge in the application and installation procedures for products and technologies; ? Develops long-term relationships with General Contractors for the purpose of developing purchasing relationships with Company and the products supported; ? Advises contractors on products, services applications and promotions that best meet their needs. ? Organize, maintain and electronically track all contracts and related documents. ? Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process; ? Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs; ? Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation; ? Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets; ? Estimate quantity and costs of materials. ? Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation; ? Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials; ? Contribute to cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures and monitor trends; ? Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers.
