Project Management Professional

I am a freelance project management/ writing professional and NGO consultant. I have spent the last five years working for NGO's and non profits in the field of international development. In previous jobs, I have been responsible for all management and administrative tasks. I have written weekly and monthly activity reports and newsletters as well as quarterly budget reports and annual grant proposals. I have done translations and screened requests for immigrants seeking asylum in English and Spanish. I have created and designed social media accounts, and have been responsible for outreach and promotion both online and in print. I have organized big events and fundraisers as well as teacher training workshops where I have had to develop and facilitate all training materials. I have been accountable for organizing and maintaining budgets, designing spreadsheets and paying staff. I have worked for large non governmental organizations as well as tiny non profits. Furthermore, I have studied and worked internationally in Europe, North Africa, East Africa and the Middle East. I hold a Masters degree in Middle East and North African studies, a program which was almost exclusively evaluated on written assessments. I feel I have a strong command of languages and listening skills, I am hardworking, flexible and willing to learn.
