There is no such thing as a simple project, even the smallest projects have their complexities. I work with clients to understand their business objectives and desired outcomes and then craft a project plan that allows these to be achieved. A good project manager does not only ensure that projects are on time and within budget, they also have to keep the project team motivated. It's all about managing expectations and clear communication. My experience has ranged from small projects of doing research on one product in a single geography, to coordinating a global team with members in 6 time zones to successfully deliver a 6 month project.
