I've been working as a Sr. Implementation Specialist for a company that sells payroll software in Canada. My role is to manage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure. Once a project is assigned, First, I would reach out to the clients, send meeting invites to discuss the project, set expectations and lay the entire project plan as per procedure. Next, is to execute or set up the system based on what the client requires. After setting up the payroll software, I will connect to the client again for a run through or online navigation training and get ready for the first actual payroll run. After the first live run, which is the most critical phase, I would constantly communicate with the client to ensure a seamless onboarding. For the time being, I will keep the account on my bucket then transition to our service department once I get a confirmation that they are good to go.
