I am an American living in the Philippines now for 11 years. Semi-Retired. I need projects to keep me busy.
My wife owns a very successful company here in Philippines
I sold my companies in the U.S. I am financially secure. I am looking for interesting projects and challenges more than money. But money is always nice. Ignore that I might be overqualified. I am looking for interesting projects more than high pay. My background is extensive.
In my background, I had to have excellent social media, websites with excellent SEO, and marketing for my companies. But I was also hired as the Marketing Director for a large Car Dealership of new and used cars. I had to start from scratch with a logo, website, and social media presence back when many companies did not have them. I created a business venture to capture the attention of Credit Union members. It was very lucrative for my employer. I was paid a ridiculous salary and provided a high-end luxury car. My point is that I had to be good at marketing this company or I would never have been paid what I was paid and kept there. They begged me to stay but it was time after two years to move on and start a limo company. That company operated for 17 years. I recently sold it. It was run by a partner I brought on for 11 years. I oversaw its success in Atlanta Georgia. It was very successful. It required the best of the best marketing.
But more important is my ownership of other companies over the years. One, at a young age, became the largest Audio/ Video Store in Hawaii with a $14,000 a month marketing budget in the '80s. I became the largest Bose Dealer in sales per capita "In The World". Amar Bose the founder of Bose Corporation became a close friend. He was my mentor and advisor. He rewarded me generously with a huge Radio and TV monthly budget. He used me as a test for his marketing ideas. I guess you know the incredible success of the Bose products. I was the sole reason later that Bose Corporation started retail stores worldwide. A great story.
I sold that store and was able to have 140 items on contract with the U.S. military. This meant outstanding skills too long to list. But it is not easy to accomplish. You have to market yourself in order to get those contracts. It takes skill.
I had to learn excellent copywriting, editing, and marketing to be as successful as I was. It all had to be perfect.
My qualifications are my intensive background. I am looking for challenges. I want only interesting projects. If I apply to your job offer you can count on the fact I would not do so if I was not 100% sure I was one of your best candidates. I am an excellent copywriter. I am also a great English Teacher, a hobby of mine.
Keep me busy, challenge me, I am ready
