I have spent over 40 years of my working life in global IT/Business Management and Management Consultancies, which means I have spent countless hours writing, reviewing, re-writing, proof reading and generally dealing with reports, tenders, proposals, memos and all sorts of technical and business material. I also write for my own personal blog if something interests or incenses me. I currently write regularly for several clients. I have been writing regular articles on business and IT technical topics to be published on various blogs for Upwork clients each month for several years, supplemented by one-off assignments as they arise. My most recent one-off assignments covered a range of different topics, from rewriting travel guides to Addis Ababa into proper English following a translation from Amharic, (by the look of it via Klingon) to review/edit/recompose technical reports on ICT security matters. Another was to proofread/edit into proper English a 40 page Russian ICT Technical IPO proposal machine translated into square-wheel English. I have just completed writing a script to accompany a Lebanese Powerpoint presentation for a banking client and revisions and rewrites to a practice manual for a Middle Eastern management consultancy.
