I specialise in proofreading and editing, particularly large documents of work such as drafts for a book or short story. I have a journalism degree up to masters level, and nearly seven years experience working within communications, PR and marketing for large organisations such as local authorities, creative media and emergency services. I am skilled and experienced at taking large documents of work, reading it, editing it, correcting small and quick mistakes and providing feedback to improve the quality of work and/or to amend potential plot holes.
I will take your work and handle it with the care and precision it needs and deserves, reading it through line-by-line and step-by-step. When the work is returned, I will deliver and offer clear amendments and corrections through tracked changes, as well as offering feedback and thoughts which aim to take the project to that next level. I also understand that turnaround of work is hugely important to individuals and organisations; with over ten years of training and experience at writing, proofreading and editing under pressure and quickly to an incredibly high standard, I take pride in returning client's work back in a prior-agreed and appropriate timeframe.
As a trained journalist, I have over ten years training and experience in writing and creating content for online media, as well as writing and creating larger pieces of work such as E-books and online blogs. I can help take a project idea and turn it into the written word, whether that is through creating an article, blog post or even a larger piece of work, such as ghost writing a E-book for online sale. If you are unsure what medium to create with the ideas you have, I am more than happy to discuss and advise the ideal place to form the project, content and idea, starting the process of bringing that project to life.
