After several years of working full time while attending college, my writing skills vastly improved. Working through research papers and all different types of work correspondence placed me in a position where I found myself constantly writing in one form or another. I also started to realize how much I enjoyed writing, editing, proofreading, etc. My co-workers like to call me the resident "word-smith". I occasionally have the opportunity to proofread and/or edit official correspondence that comes from the individuals that I work for. I have been running my own website for several years, but just recently started blogging as a means to continue writing past my college "career". Leadership and continuing education are two topics that I am very enagaged in which is why I chose to call my blog "Lead and Learn".
