I am highly proficient in the English language, and have a keen eye for mistakes in grammar, punctuation and syntax. Proofreading and editing essays at university has become a pastime of sorts, and the numerous essays I proofread for my peers have honed my skills in speed-reading and spotting convoluted sentences. Jokes aside, I received my formal education in Singapore, where I was born and raised, and achieved good results for my A Levels, including an A for General Paper - essentially a paper that tests ability in the English language as well as knowledge of current affairs. I have worked as an intern-cum-personal assistant for a dance teacher, where my role not only involved teaching dance students and managing productions, but also proofreading and writing biographies, recommendation letters and synopses. I have also worked temporarily in Human Resources, and did some transcribing work for confidential interviews regarding childhood education. Currently, I am an undergraduate at Falmouth University on the Dance and Choreography course. I am interested in freelance proofreading and transcription work, as well as any form of dance projects.
