My name is Courtney Manders and I am a 2011 graduate of William Paterson University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. For the past 3 years, I have worked at two Public Relations agencies where my strong writing and pitching skills secured millions of media impressions for clients that spanned several categories including food, healthcare, and children's products. At the second agency I worked at, I achieved some of my greatest PR accomplishments. Nearly single-handed I secured a brand new to US market product, Peanut Hottie, in several top tier media including The Huffington Post, The Daily Meal and Self.com. They even tried it on The Chew, but they did not like it; not my fault! Beyond writing and pitching, my experiences have polished other skills I already possessed including the drive to work hard as there are frequent deadlines and I work best with deadlines, quick thinking, juggling multiple clients, creating and implementing ideas for my clients.
