Quality Control (QC) is a process by which entities review the quality of all factors involved in production. Quality control requires the project manager and the project team to inspect the accomplished work to ensure its alignment with the project scope. In practice, projects typically have a dedicated quality control team which focuses on this area. Product quality control is an integral stage in the development process, but it is not a key activity area for the majority of companies. Transferring quality control services to outsourcing allows the companies to focus on core activities, while external experts do all the necessary activities efficiently and with corresponding quality control. Depending on the testing rendering, this or that feature of the application or website goes under testing. Typically, the quality control testing process is documented in a test plan and test cases. The test plan describes the QC testing strategy, methods and tools for testing, the order of testing and the other features. Test cases describe consistent step-wise test operations of the program or website functionality. These are minimum basic operations of verification for each function or item application
