Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating after a four-year-old boy died in Watrous this week.

Watrous RCMP a report of an injured child in the community at approximately 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a media release. Officers arrived to find the child in medical distress and he was declared dead by EMS.

RCMP say the child’s family has been notified and his name is not being released.
