A strong understanding of financial modeling including cash flows, real estate valuation techniques, IRR calculations, and partnership waterfalls;
Successful modeling experience across all major asset types (multi, hotel, retail, office, self-storage, industrial) and situations (cash flowing acquisitions to ground up development)
A thorough understanding of investment underwriting, property management, real estate documents and transactions, asset sales, contract negotiations, real estate finance, and joint venture partnerships. Office or Medical Office experience is a strong plus, but not a requirement;
Very strong skills in Microsoft Excel, and proficiency in other basic computer skills;
Strong oral and written communication skills.
