Aeolian Land S.A. is a highly experised private company established in Heraklion Crete, Greece in 2011. It has an extensive academic and professional experience on the development of advanced electricity and thermal energy production projects from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) supported by energy storage technologies. Wind parks combined with pumped hydro storage systems have been studied by Aeolian Land S.A. for the Greek islands of Crete (5 projects), Kasos, Samos, Astypalaia, Rhodes and Sifnos. Additionally, small systems, consisting of wind turbines, photovoltaics and electrochemical storage technologies (e.g. lead acid or lithium ion batteries) have been studied for smaller islands. Additionally, wide experience has been also gained on the study and consulting of energy saving active and passive systems for buildings and decentralised energy consumptions.
