I am a research and training professional with 6+ years of experience in different educational institutions. The experience of being associated with 16 research and 27 training/ awareness programs / workshops gave me an opportunity to enhance my skills in the different areas associated with it.Some of the studies covered during this period were the Problems faced by single women; Microcredit through self help groups, Problems faced by hand weavers, a study on the scheduled caste and tribes of the Indian society and so on. Playing the role of training coordinator was more challenging since I had to keep myself active and alert all the time. Handling unexpected contingencies and update knowledge on each subject going to be handled was also required. The beneficiaries of training/ awareness programs included students, counselors of family counseling centers, pedestrians, Heavy motor drivers, handloom weavers and so on. 3+ years of experience in teaching subjects like management and economics stands as an added advantage to the skills I possess. I also have a sound knowledge in Microsoft office utilities like MS word, Excel and power point.
