My name is Saqib Mahmood graduated as a Civil engineer from University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar. 

My field of research is on impact of Climate and land use changes on flow regime using SWAT model. For calibration and uncertainty i use SWATCUP. 

In the dry sections of Upper Indus Basin, long term water planning and management are encouraged by a better knowledge of the impacts of LUCC (land use/cover change). The bulk of research neglected future land-use change in favor of concentrating on expected impacts of climate change on surface runoff. Therefore, the main goal of this study is to foresee, using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) and the Upper Indus Basin, Pakistan, as case studies, the effects of land-use changes on surface runoff. The future Land use was projected for the year 2050 using CA.ANN technique in QGIS plugin MOLUSCE. The calibration era (1990–2005) and the validation phase (2010–2013) comprised the historical record (2006–2013).T
