I am a researcher with very strong analytical and writing skills. My research skills include desk reviews as well as data collection using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. I use my excellent writing skills to generate quality reports as well as generation of informative contents. I have about 20 years experience of working with International development organizations in Eastern Africa as a project manager. As a result i have acquired a lot of experience and knowledge on effective management of people, and projects for results. I have mentored very many people whom i supervised in my different capacities and i am proud to see most of them having grown in their careers I am currently the Director of Finance and Operations at SPARD Africa Consulting Limited. I lead the team in in this company in delivering consulting assignments and trainings to our clients who include international development organizations, UN bodies and Governments.. Over time i have realized that there is strong connection between the human resource productivity, their effectiveness in the management of projects and their level of personal leadership. This has led to my redefinition of my portfolio into three main dimensions: (1) human resource productivity improvement which include managing people for results, recruiting the right skills as well as planning and interpersonal skills; (2) project management which include concepts like monitoring and evaluation and the entire project cycle management; (3) personal leadership which include personal goal setting, defining personal mission statement, purpose and core values and triggering self awareness. I have packaged these three into programs under SPARD Africa consulting. I am a very efficient, focused and a result oriented person and always endeavor to give my client the best services so that they can achieve their desired goals. I am passionate about improving peoples productivity so that they can achieve their highest potential I am guided by values of integrity, accountability, excellence, hard work and problem solving, I would like to share my experience, knowledge and expertise, which i have gained in my 20 years of my working life with the rest the world through writing articles to inform, teach an also share the lessons i have learnt over time; I am also keen to continue also conducting research to inform decisions, planning and strategies.
