My greatest asset to you is that I still know how to think. Traditional employment is great at training us on how to follow instructions. Unless we are the CEO or head of an organization, we are not typically paid for our input or ideas. Once outside of this setting, the average person is not comfortable in a leadership position in which they are responsible for their own decisions and outcomes (ie. transitioning from working a job to running a business). Although I am quite capable of following instructions, my entrepreneurial ventures prove I have not lost my ability to think. I prefer to function in a supportive role with lots of autonomy. Communicate your desired result (the 'what') and leave the process (the 'how') up to me!
