I have a B.A. in English Writing/Rhetoric. I work for The Austin Chronicle, an alternative weekly newspaper in Austin, TX. I have been working as an editorial intern for a political magazine and writing for two music magazines. I have experience researching thoroughly and writing clean, informative articles. I am a careful editor and know English grammar very well, but when I edit, I go more deeply than correcting grammatical errors; I try to make the text more understandable and cohesive as a whole. I am an observer and have a sharp eye for details. I am skilled at writing without bias and turning mundane subjects into poignant articles.
