Shilpan Patel is a Senior Consultant providing Information Security and Risk Management Services to clients. Prior to working as consultant, Shilpan was employed with BNP Paribas where he was an AVP for Information Security. For the past four years, Shilpan worked in an information security architecture and assessment team where he has primarily provided applications security reviews, Web App reviews, SDLC requirements and design, and web app penetration tests on the banks public facing applications. He interacted regularly with IT and Business unit owners in the identification and remediation of technical risks to the bank’s environments. Prior to this, he worked as a support Analyst at NYSE Euronext for a year – in a user support environment. He worked with software engineers and systems administrators to resolve a variety of technology and application issues.He has a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware.
