I re-engineered one of the cellular security platforms for xxxx(company name omitted), resolving an occasional application bottle-neck that not only cost the company money, but also increased the chances for fraudulent calls. I spent more time in preparing the proposal and in front of committees, than the actual time it took to perform the technical work. Had I not taken these steps to communicate to different levels of the organization, I would never have been able to get to the technical work. I spent several hours preparing my documentation for the committee another hour with the presentation. The implementation took approximately 30 minutes. It was very cost effective solution.
