Ruby programming, Rails web-apps

Over 15 years of Ruby and Rails programming experience. I've built Rails applications, one-off Ruby scripts, and headless, server-side applications designed to run continuously in *nix and Windows environments. I'm an agile developer at heart. I believe that several fast iterations during the start of a project greatly improves its outcome. Communication is paramount. Most projects fail due to miscommunication or a lack of it. I urge anyone working with me to communicate on a daily basis. I'm almost always available via e-mail. I program fast, solid application in Rails. I've got a solid grounding in SQL, too, so your application will scale better than some old-school Rails paradigms. Ethics and ideals are important to me, and they should be important to you, too. I build solid, feel-good applications with a genuine purpose. You're as much my customer as I am yours, so it's important we mesh well.
