Residents of Mykolaiv say they have to queue for more than three hours to get clean water
Homes in the southern port city of Mykolaiv in Ukraine have been without clean drinking water for six months.
Military and UN experts have told the BBC they believe Russian forces deliberately cut off the water supply last April.
Satellite imagery and data indicate that the pipeline to the city was intentionally destroyed when the area was under Russian control.
The destruction of resources vital to civilian life is widely seen as a violation of international humanitarian law.But in recent weeks Russia has also targeted Ukraine's energy and water infrastructure, leading to shortages across the country
