Over the past 1 1/2 years I have been working to research, search and develop targeted sales lists for 2 start up companies focused in the construction industry. This included the use of basic internet searches, using Hoover's database as well as the Dodge construction database. It also included utilizing previous relationships to seek out "friendly" targets. Work included developing a database of key customer targets, key contacts as well as regional target plans. Once the databases were developed, the work went from research to contacting targets - including cold-calls (phone & in-person), email marketing and Linked-In marketing.
