SAP BASIS & Security Administrator

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • System Monitoring. • Provide SAP Security administration, Problem analysis & resolution. • Created system messages when downtime is scheduled. • Maintaining Profile parameters. • Applying Support packs as per EWA Recommendations. • Scheduling of Standard & Customizing background jobs. • User Administration like User Creation, deletion of user, user’s locks & Provide authorizations. • Analyzing of missing authorizations and assigning Roles to users. • Profile maintenance through PFCG. • Download and applying Support Patches and SAP Notes. • Maintaining Profile parameters. • Setting up Remote connections (RFC). • Providing support on SAP BASIS Module by monitoring and administering the SAP servers of Wipro’s customer using the appropriate monitoring transaction codes and maintaining the checklists. • Transporting requests from Development to Production. • Taking the backups of Database at SAP Level as well as through OS level (Brtools) onto tapes and disks. (Oracle and MSSQL). • Client opening & closing as per the customer/functional requirements with proper approvals. • Opening the OSS connection and providing the login of SAP servers and posting messages for OSS support to SAP. • Analyzing ABAP Dumps. • Start and stop of the SAP Instance, services of Central Instance and Dialog Instances. • Log sync apply in PR and DR. • Stopping and starting the SAP/DB services in any platform (HP UX and AIX) & Windows platforms. • Performed Table space Extension using BR Tools and handling issues with Permission. • Performed startup /shutdown Activities for both MS SQL and Oracle based systems during Maintenance activities. • Performed both Online/offline backup of Oracle based systems using BR Tools. • Performed Archive log Backup with copy_ delete_save option using BR Tools. • Kernel upgrade in Unix and windows OS. • Local Client, remote client copy and client copy using export import option. • Applying Snotes in the system. • ST-PI , ST-A/PI, SPAM version upgrade . • System Refresh. • Managing system alerts. • TMS configuration.
