I have been working steadily as a freelance translator, editor and copywriter for the past eight years. I studied Audio Visual Communication at the Ramon Llull University (1998-2001), where I specialized in scriptwriting and videogames, and translation at the Pompeu Fabra University (2005), both in Barcelona, Spain. My current clients include the independent jazz label Fresh Sound Records, the sci-fi cinema distributor l’Atelier 13 and Bamboo Productions, and I’ve worked in many media-related projects through the years. I have prepared the subtitles for many movies and TV Series—both the translations and time-coding, with and without the original material. Just to mention a few, the original 1950’s Twilight Zone, Ed Wood’s complete works, Bily Wilder’s “Double Indemnity” and the internationally acclaimed documentary “À margem do Xingu.”
