"A GOOD STORY IS A MIRACLE"
Stanley Kubrick was right. Good stories are little miracles and they are all too rare. It takes quite a bit of work to write a good script and I'm happy to admit that after 20 years, I still have something to learn. I'm aware of this every time I sit down to start a new project, which is why I love this craft so much.
I'm available to take on a pitch, a new project, a re-write, script repair, or an adaptation. I also have long experience as a director of stage, film and TV. I'm the winner of a New York Emmy Award for my work in TV documentaries.
My greatest strength is writing solid characters to attract great actors. In my opinion, this is what sells a script. I love placing my work into the hands of experienced actors and then watching it come to life.
Since 1999, I have taught screenwriting NYU's Undergraduate Film & TV.
