I wrote my first play when I was a sophomore in high school, and my first feature length film script shortly after. I have engaged in both passions ever since. I was heavily involved in the theater department at the University of Georgia during my tenure there as an undergrad, and received a Master's degree in Film/Video/Digital from the University of Georgia, where I produced several short films of my own and served as a staff writer on a local web series. As Programmer of Education for the Atlanta Film Festival, I oversaw a wealth of panels and courses on script writing, and I served as the chief judge of the 2014 Screenplay Competition, whittling over 300 submissions into a pool of 16 finalists and 3 eventual winners.
