Currently, I am adapting a 1903 novel set in San Francisco to the screen. My international drama, CURE, scored an "8" on The Black List and was a 2019 quarterfinalist in the Screencraft Drama Competition. My adapted psychological drama, CRAWL SPACE, was a finalist for the 2015 New York Women in Film & Television Writer's Lab. Recent work includes co-writing the treatment for the feature documentary INDIGENOUS for Redhouse Productions, and writing a narrative feature (working title CLIPPED WINGS) for Front Row Productions. Earlier credits include dramatic and mockumentary scripts for two Internet-based political series, REINVENTING AMERICA I and II; a segment of the Emmy-winning public TV series, PSYCHOLOGY: THE STUDY OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR for KOCE TV; the WHERE IN TIME IS CARMEN SANDIEGO? PBS children's series home version; the treatment for THE ODDEST COUPLE documentary for KCET TV; and several dramatic educational TV series, including THE U.S. CONSTITUTION with Bill Moyers. My awards include a Codie, a New York Film Festival Gold, an Action for Children's Television Award, Cine Golden Eagles, and a nomination for a Peabody Award. My recent commercial scripts include a crowd funding video for Title 9 Sports, a public service video on human trafficking for the Dallas Women's Foundation, and 25 short videos for a historical tourism phone app. I write in many voices, and am happy to research a subject I am unfamiliar with, especially in pursuit of a richer, more powerful story. In all of my work, I offer exemplary English skills, wide-ranging knowledge, compelling writing, and an abiding curiosity.
