I am a confident, methodical Programmer and Security Practitioner with broad knowledge in many concepts and practices involved in the programming field. Such as secure programming utilizing input validation, data sanitization, error handling, performance optimization and keeping up to speed with the constantly evolving landscape of security in the programming field. I do this by monitoring CVEs from various mailing lists, twitter, and vulnerability scanners. I practice Penetration Testing at various layers of the stack to thoroughly test not only the system I am developing but the underlining system it rests on. I take a special interest in securing configuration and deep documentation. I have deep knowledge in various languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP. I am also highly familiar with databases such as MySQL, Redis. I am very quick to adapt to new frameworks or libraries and get up to speed delivering solid programming within hours. I spend a lot of my time investigating best practices such as polymorphic code, inheritance models (protypal and classical), and various design patterns. However I like to take a very functional approach to development when given the choice. I have implemented these off the top of my head, built frameworks from the ground up for custom content management systems, as well as APIs for various purposes. I have achieved a Security+ Certification as well as FreeCodeCamp's Front-End Developer Certification and I have also completed wesbos' 30-day Vanilla JavaScript challenge.
