I have spent the past 9 years working in the BPO (Call Center Industry) which gave me the opportunity to develop the right behavior and attitude, as well as gather knowledge and skills that will be very beneficial to any line of work that I will be signing up for. What excites me is the fact that I will be able to work in the comfort of my home and be of assistance to my client remotely. I am currently working for an Australian based client where I handle both Inbound and Outbound calls selling broadband, telephone, mobile and other wireless products. I also have experience in doing cold calling for an online education account where we call customers and profile them either for online or campus university. I also dialed VONAGE leads wherein I was tasked to do cold calling to customers who already have existing telephone and broadband services. The job was to make the customer keep their broadband service but switch their phone service to VONAGE, which is a VOIP service that requires broadband connection. It was a hardcore account because customers don't want to break their bundled services in fear of losing their bundle discount. I was awarded as top agent on my first month and was a consistent top agent for the whole duration of my stay in the company. I used to have a part-time transcription job and transcribing audio files has been my thing on my spare time. I also worked as an IP Relay Operator for the deaf and the mute which required at least 50 words per minute typing speed. When I left, I was at 98 words per minute which can be very beneficial to your business if you want a quick turn around time. I do not have any prior experience as a personal or administrative assistant but I am very much willing to learn the ins and outs of this industry. I would say that that I am very much experienced in terms of customer interaction and communication, having been able to work in the call center industry as customer service, sales and technical support specialist. I have worked for several U.S. based companies with shifting schedule. Most of the time, 9 hours a day and depending on the clients' need, I worked in Opening, Graveyard and Closing shift (graveyard most of the time).
