I have 20 years of product design experience in various design aspects from PCBs to enclosures. My experience includes mixed signal circuit design, including power supplies, microprocessors, audio signals and amplifiers; this includes layout of mixed signal PCBs from 1 to 8 layers. I have written firmware various microcontrollers including TI Tiva, PIC, MSP430 and Arduino. I have design PC applications to communicate with the microcontrollers and server applications to interface between an embedded Linux client and an SQL database. My experience includes designing enclosures for various assemblies and sensor housings. Many of the designs I have worked on include requirements EMI/EMC testing, shock and vibration testing and environmental testing including temperature, humidity, and IP rating. I have had to design for these test, specify what tests need to be performed and design the fixtures for theses test.
