Currently a senior software QA professional with 8 years experience in testing software products and software services, I began my career with IBM India GBS in July 2006 as a campus hire from NIE, Mysore. Working with the AT&T Enterprise account was the ideal start as the role involved a global workplace and experienced leaders/managers. Soon, I had completed ISTQB CTFL certification in 2006. 2007 was an excellent year for us as the AT&T account won the Gerstner Award for Client Excellence. By this time, I had got used to manual functional testing, reviews for requirements, design and test deliverables, configuration management. My experience about how businesses operate opened my eyes to the scale of coordination involved in how we worked. In the next year, we had a new challenge of integrating more applications from IBM's competition with challenging hand-off timelines. Since I was good a mentor, I was given the opportunity to lead a new team. At the end of the acquisition integration, I won the IBM Team Award from the client (for outstanding contribution to October Release). The next year brought with it a new opportunity of applying some process improvement trials. This transition project would be my last at IBM and I won 'The Best of IBM'?/'Bravo!'? award in 2010. After I took a few months off to reflect on what I wanted to do next, I joined Verifaya where I was appraised and asked to work with MetricStream. Being in the Products R&D team, I got a chance to work on some of the many GRC applications/products from MetricStream's portfolio - ITGRC, GRCF, Supplier Management, Loss Management spread over a year and a half. My managers at MetricStream asked me to join MetricStream in 2012 and I started working with the AppStudio team.
