I am a Senior Software Developer with an academic background in Electrical Engineering. I have coded in over 30 languages and my broadest experience is in C#, C++, Java, PHP and Python. I have extensive database design and transaction processing experience using SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL. On the code/design side, I have worked on mix of server tier business logic, front end user interface work and web/mobile work. I also have a range of experience with embedded software and equipment interface software. My role in software and engineering processes has included Sales Application Engineering, Specification and Design, Software Development, Support, Project Management and Marketing. Application domains have included eCommerce, Factory Automation, Robotics control, Data warehousing, e-Learning, Biomedical data collection and signal processing, Financial/accounting and ERP development. On the web development front, I have worked extensively with a number of key platforms including Magento, Wordpress, Moodle, D2L, Shopify and SAP. I am rapidly developing a toolset of AI skills and techniques to add to my portfolio and would be thrilled to take on more projects in this area. I have worked with clients in various sectors ranging from small businesses to large corporations like Microsoft, Toyota and Applied Materials. I am very organized and have extensive project planning experience which helps me keep projects on time and on budget.
