In my current role at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) as a Senior Tax Associate, I prepare and review Canadian corporate and personal tax returns. I am also in my second year of in depth tax course which has helped me tremendously in understanding complex tax issues and how it affects corporations and individuals. I bring a combination of up-to-date tax knowledge and experience developed through academics and five years of experience working in Canadian tax environment. Being a Senior Tax Associate at PwC, I am responsible for several clients and manage a team of 8 people. PwC has trusted me to deliver top quality work and meet tight deadlines, which has allowed me to work remotely from home and other PwC offices on several occasions. I am a hardworking professional who is able to meet tight deadlines. Last year I worked in the New York office of PwC during the winter tax season and was asked to deliver on multiple tax returns within a very short period. I was able to utilize my time management skills to prepare and file the tax returns before the deadline. I also have a thorough knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act (ITA) and I am able to refer and navigate through the ITA to complete complex tax returns.
