I have over 35 years of top-level experience as a Director of Communications, publicist, editor, reporter, writer and broadcaster. I am moving into early retirement and am now offering my professional services on a freelance/part-time basis. Since 1988, I have been a Director of Communications with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Government of Alberta and the Government of Canada. In all of these positions I have supervised and edited the work of writers, publicists and communications officers. I write speeches, newsletters, news releases, biographies, internet, intranet copy and on-air ad copy. I also do voice-over narration and have a completely professional home-based audio studio.
