I bring an often misunderstood marketing channel to the forefront of business strategy, making SEO interesting and inspiring those around me, engaging even the most sceptical of individuals. My core focus is on improving ROI, achieved by increasing website traffic and revenue, growing the online brand and educating marketing teams about the need to integrate their on and offline marketing activities. With 6 years SEO experience I have managed SEO budgets exceeding £1m and worked with over 100 businesses. I have set the SEO strategy for some of Europe’s largest brands including Zalando, Vertbaudet, Paddy Power, Investec and Equinix and in my first year at Debenhams saved £400k whilst achieving 33% traffic and 49% revenue increase year on year. My experience has allowed me to lead large teams and hold senior search marketing roles both agency-side and in-house including Head of SEO, Head of Search and Head of Digital. In these roles I have transformed digital marketing agencies through restructuring, training and recruitment and have built Debenhams in-house SEO team and SEO technology requirements from the ground up.
