Prior to graduate school, I spent eight years at the Center for Investigative Reporting and have reported major projects for newspapers and Web sites across the country, as well as NPR, PBS, and many of their affiliates. Before then, I reported for alt weekly newspapers in San Francisco and Oklahoma.
