I have production experience programming in C, Java, COBOL, Fortran and numerous other mainframe, mini and PC languages and platforms. Including traditional desktop-GUI user interfaces as well as old-mainframe server-driven terminal interfaces. I have also developed complete subsystem modules as well as a complete accounting system which was used unchanged and unmaintained from 2000 till at least 2018 by a major company in the U.A.E. I have also ported systems to new platforms. My programs are robust, maintenance-free, elegantly written and self-documenting so are a joy to maintain. I also provide developer notes and pointers for future development / maintenance. I have written programs for company commercial applications as well as technical applications. I will happily agree to milestone-based payments, rather than worked-hour-based ones. i.e. RESULT-BASED remuneration - after delivery of the end-product. Software system development for science/technology applications are welcome too.
