Speaking of the film, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Jawan is a universal story that spans languages and regions and can be enjoyed by everyone. Credit goes to Atlee for creating this unique film which was a fantastic experience for me too as I love action films. The teaser is just the tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse of what's to come."

In May, Prithviraj actor Akshay Kumar also tested positive for Covid, and on Saturday news that Kartik Aaryan and Aditya Roy Kapur were also infected made headlines.
Maharashtra has seen a massive spike in Covid cases and the BMC has asked Mumbai to be on alert. The municipality also ordered that film studios in the upscale K-West neighborhood not host studio parties.
The BMC has also asked studios to notify it in the event of parties so others can be tracked if someone at the party tests positive for Covid, News 18 reported.
