In an effort to streamline and simplify workforce administration and business processes, Torus Informatics has implemented a Human Resource Management System. HRMS is an integrated software application that merges human resource processes and information technology (IT) services. The new system will support a variety of human resource functions. The system will significantly improve the functional capabilities currently available to users and will eventually enable users to use a single Web interface to manage their employee and human resource processes. HRMS is being developed and released in a phased approach. This User Guide includes information as it pertains to Phase One, delivered in Feb 2014. Phase One will focus on creating a foundation for managing classified, administrative, user profiles. It comprises of project design and development and deployment of Employee Self Service (ESS), Time Sheet Management and Leave Management modules. The new system will link to employees, that allow users to view and modify employee authorizations, and streamline and improve the process for time management and leave management.
