Hello! My name is Michael S. and I am an attorney licensed to practice law in Illinois and California. I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience both as an LSAT instructor for Kaplan, Inc. and as an adjunct professor at the University of La Verne College of Law. I enjoy tutoring so much because I take great pride in helping my students overcome the "hump" of the LSAT and the Bar Exam! Beyond my ability to convey the material in easily understandable parts, I am able to tutor successfully because I recognize that everyone thinks a little differently. As such, I tailor my tutoring to the needs of each student so that we spend the majority of our time focusing on the portion of the exam where improvement is needed. I accomplish this personalized tailoring by discussing with each student what they feel they need to learn to improve their score on their exam. From this discussion I structure a curriculum that will be most productive for them. My primary goal is to make sure you pass your exam with flying colors but my secondary goal is to turn what can be a stressful experience into a fun one!
