Sisi directs the integration of the boat

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development, Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, and Mustafa Dojizi, Chairman of the Southern Red Sea Arsenal Company. 

Ambassador Bassam Radi, spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that the meeting dealt with "follow-up efforts to localize the fishing boat industry in Egypt."

In this context, the President was briefed on the executive position on the localization of the modern fishing boat industry, directing that the production of these boats be integrated in parallel with the state's efforts to develop natural lakes at the level of the Republic and initiatives to support fishermen, and this has a direct impact on doubling the production of these lakes of fish, thus supporting the economic conditions of fishermen, enhancing food security and the national economy, and in implementation of the state's established strategy of good governance and optimal exploitation of Egypt's natural resources.

The meeting also witnessed the Chairman's briefing on the efforts to participate with the private sector in localizing the modern yacht industry, and the subsequent maintenance, repair and construction centers of yachts, given the potential of Egypt in the field of maritime tourism across the Mediterranean and Red Sea and the Suez Canal corridor, and taking advantage of its unique geographical location and the modern ports it currently has along the coast
