For the past three years I have been working as a Bioinformatician, contributing mainly to the field of regulatory genomics, and specializing in machine learning and massive data mining, analysis and visualization.Before breaking into the biotech world, I worked for four years as a Software Engineer, managing a group of Java developers as a technical lead, and creating and reviewing software designs and ensuring code quality. I'm a bioinformatician with more than 7 years of experience as a computer scientist.I have a strong knowledge of data mining and machine learning techniques, as well as software design techniques.I have solid skills in programming languages such as Java (Sun certification obtained in 2009), Perl, Python and R.
