I have international experience in marketing, social media, sales, project management, training, communications and more. Having spent time working in multicultural and multinational environment, I am very adept in all types of situations. I enjoy being challenged and always try to find an interesting and different solution to a problem I have ample experience in marketing, event organization, Google Analytics and Adwords, communications, SEO, growth strategy, social media, copy writing, content creation, editing, sales, analytics, branding, planning, CRM systems, KPIs, WordPress, digital marketing and project management. I moved to the Netherlands from Shanghai, where I worked as an International Coordinator for OT International, a start-up HR firm. I organized the Au Pair program, dealt with clients, organized events and training, and expanded networks and partner agencies through business development and strategic planning. I also managed social media and other marketing channels and analytics tools such as Google/Facebook/Instagram analytics, SEO, Hootsuite and Iconosquare. It was a fast-paced environment in a new business with ever-changing issues and scenarios where I learned a great deal by thinking on my feet, which I think would be very beneficial for any company. I previously worked at Airbnb as an Experience Specialist where I assisted users of Airbnb with everything from explaining the Airbnb brand to helping users in difficult situations as an agent. I regularly met and exceeded targets and assisted in English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Part of my position at Airbnb was to identify emerging issues with the company and also to monitor social media for activity involving Airbnb. Some of my achievements while at Airbnb included establishing a Mandarin Chinese line and discovering and stopping a copycat scam in Europe. I also worked for Sky Television where my duties included increasing sales through marketing, customer service duties, and identifying key areas for increased marketing. I consistently achieved and broke sales targets, and was part of a team that broke a 3-year record for most sales in a week. I also consulted on the rebranding of the movies and sports packages and helped customers and users with any query, question, or qualm they have had. In other previous roles, I have monitored and regularly updated social media including Facebook, Twitter, and the company site, assisted in the organization of literary festivals and book launches, including contacting different media sources, such as radio stations, newspapers and websites and drafting press releases. I have worked in content creation, editorial work and proofreading while also having worked on a media campaign during the literary festival to increase sales in a publishing house that resulted in sales increasing by 150%. I have worked in a range of large and small companies in a number of countries across different industries and I’ve learned to be very adaptable.
