I have about 5 years experience working with social media. All but one year of that experience was spent working in a position where it was my responsibility to work on 5 different product brands, each with their own unique voice, identity and brand strategy. It was my responsibility to develop both digital content to be used on vendor websites and content to be used on both our websites and social media accounts. I also have experience planning social media schedules, incorporating suitable hashtags in order to gain new eyes on the account and researching then making use of cross branding opportunities, when suitable. In short, I believe that social media can be more than a parking lot for product images. It can be an invaluable tool for educating customers, allowing them to discover your product and, most importantly, turning that into sales. Rates are quoted depending on the work.
